COVID19

Guidelines -what to expect at PWFP

Now that we are slowly entering into the post-COVID era, we altered some of our practices to adapt to the present-day requirements and create a standard of care that is current, safe and effective. We are on a unique journey together, and it is new to all of us. While we aim to address all questions or concerns you possibly have, we may miss some things.  We kindly ask you to reach out to us should you notice anything that could help you, our other valued clients or us in any way. We welcome all suggestions that could help us move forward.

At this time, we will do our meet and greet in the ‘curbside pick-up & drop-off style’.
We ask that you follow the current distancing rules at all times, as we will do the same. We will be wearing gloves and a mask.
We invite you to use wipes to keep your hands clean; these will be provided at the door.
We ask that you ensure your pet’s collar and leash are secure and fitted properly. Please do NOT use a retractable leash!
New clients, please complete the intake form online! If you have any trouble with it, please let us know.
Upon arrival, call/text and let us know that you have arrived.
The phone number is 705.770.0373
Please wait outside, and we’ll greet you shortly.

Once the cleaning of your pet’s teeth is finished, we will call/text and expect you to be back on time.
The pick up will happen in a similar fashion as the drop off; please call/text 705.770.0373 when you arrived, and we’ll walk your pet out for you.

Aside from wearing gloves and masks and washing/sanitizing our hands every step of the way, we will do everything behind doors to ensure all of us are safe.
Door handles will be wiped after each use.

We might change the collar and leash of your pet to our own. We use a new/clean leash for each pet (all leashes will be washed at the end of the day); the comfort of your pet is our priority.

Every pup will have a clean blanket to lay on, and all tools and equipment will be wiped after each use (these safety measures are part of our standard practices).

Payment options:
Online form of payment: we’ll email you the invoice -Visa, MasterCard, debit, Amex, GooglePay, and ApplePay are accepted. We kindly ask that you complete the transaction within a day.

Cash (in a ziplock bag). Please make sure you have the correct amount as change cannot be given this time.

The new guidelines are in place to ensure that all are safe. Please follow these steps and ask for clarification in case we did not provide clear directions.

A bin (sanitized after each use) will be provided to store your dog’s belongings.
We will give you a time frame of when to come back; however, we will call/text you as soon as your pup is ready for pick up. At this time, you can not wait in our lounge area, so please come in only to drop off or pick up your pet.
New clients! Please complete the intake form online!
Once the cleaning is done and you are back, we will escort your pet out for you with a collar and leash on. You will be responsible for collecting your pet’s other belongings from your bin.
