A Career Built on Skill, Leadership, and Compassion

At Pearly Whites for Pets, we don’t just “clean teeth”—we lead. For over 13 years, we have set the gold standard for all-natural pet oral care in Ontario. We are currently looking for dedicated, kind, and resilient individuals to join our team as Teeth Cleaning Practitioners.

This is not a typical entry-level job; it is a professional trade that requires a unique blend of technical manual precision and advanced animal behavioural leadership.

The Role: What We Are Looking For

We are seeking “built-in smile” people. You are a team player who is naturally positive, reliable, and punctual. More importantly, you are a professional who understands that our success is rooted in the bond of trust we build with every dog and cat.

The Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional dog handling experience (grooming, training, veterinary assistant, or high-level daycare).
  • Advanced Expertise: While we provide comprehensive training in our proprietary methods, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with prior pet teeth-cleaning experience or extensive professional backgrounds in animal oral hygiene.
  • Geographic Flexibility: You must be mobile and able to work across our regional hubs, including Toronto (King West), Markham, and Barrie, as well as our various mobile clinic locations.
  • The Human Element: We hire for character. You must be an open-minded, kind, and loving human being who thrives in a collaborative environment.

The Path to Mastery: Our Training Program

We invest heavily in our team. Because our techniques are proprietary and require meticulous skill, every new hire undergoes 2 months of intensive, hands-on training.

  • The Commitment: Due to the depth of this specialized training, a 2-year training bond is required upon successful completion of the program.
  • The Selection Process: We are highly selective. Our process includes a rigorous interview and a practical “work interview” to observe your handling skills in real-time. Only a few candidates are chosen for each training cycle.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available.
  • Focus: Performing one-on-one, manual, all-natural teeth cleaning sessions.
  • Environment: Working out of our flagship Toronto Studio, our founding Barrie Studio, or our regional partners in Markham, Elora and Trenton.
